Our Heritage

A Story Written in Stone

Roel Boutique B&B is housed in a heritage building whose walls are carved from globigerina limestone — the same honey-gold stone that gives the entire island its warm, luminous character. The property was transformed from two separate townhouses into a boutique B&B. The adjacent door to the entrance, we have kept one of the original.

Today, Roel offers 11 rooms, each with its own personality, along with a rooftop terrace and breakfast room. The name "Roel" holds our heart — it is the merged names of our two daughters, Rose and Elena. It was very much a cliche moment. Nonetheless, it was what we both stood for and why we worked so hard.
