Our Legacy

A Story Written in Stone

Roel Boutique B&B was transformed from two separate townhouses into a boutique B&B. The adjacent door to the entrance, we have kept one of the original.

Today, Roel offers 11 rooms, each with its own personality, along with a rooftop terrace and breakfast room. The name "Roel" holds our heart — it is the merged names of our two daughters, Rose and Elena. It was very much a cliche moment. Nonetheless, it was what we both stood for and why we worked so hard.

This was without doubt the best B&B we ever stayed in. My spouse and I stayed for two weeks and the experience was exceptional — modern rooms, excellent breakfast included in the price, and easy access to Valletta by bus or ferry. A perfect stay! The location is ideal, just 3 minutes from the ferry to Valletta and at the start of the two most beautiful cities to visit, Birgu and Isla. The welcome was particularly warm, with a hostess who took great care of us from beginning to end. The room was very spacious, comfortable and pleasant. An excellent address I recommend without hesitation.
